Get On Board
NobleBoard is a lightweight, high-density tile backer board that is quick and easy to install. The 100% waterproof XPS (extruded polystyrene) core is resistant to vapor pressure and does not support mold growth. The XPS core is sandwiched between two layers of tightly woven mesh and cementitious coating.
Noble Company offers the following complementary items to complete your installation:
• NobleSealant 250 can be used for seaming gaps less than 3/16”, to seal over screw heads on face of board, and to act as a supplemental bonding agent when applied to studs behind the board.
• AquaBlue™ Flashing Mesh for gaps greater than 3/16” or changes of plane.
• NobleBoard Screws and Fasteners to secure board to wall (or floor for 1/4” thick board)
BENEFITS
- 1/4” Thick board can be used for countertops as well as a subfloor under tile installation.
- 1/2” Thick board can be used for shower and tub walls, backsplashes, or a tiled wall.
- 2” Thick board can be used for building and configuring benches and other shower accessories including shelves and ledges.
- NobleBoard can accommodate large-format tiles, stone, glass, or mosaics.
- NobleBoard is able to be cut to size with either a utility knife, hand saw, or small power saw.
- Available Lifetime Warranty when used in conjunction with Noble Company ProBase® II Shower Base system to gain a lifetime warranty.
